Quality – Community Quality

At the request of the Kentucky Division of Developmental & Intellectual Disabilities, a group was convened to address issues around the quality of services provided to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The group is comprised of University researchers, Kentucky National Core Indicators staff and interviewers, people with disabilities, their families, and DDID staff. A major accomplishment of this group has been developing recommendations for DDID around services areas that need to be addressed. The work of the group is also featured in the September, 2011 issue of the Community Services Reporter. The Kentucky NCI QI Committee has reviewed and updated it’s recommendations.
